Styling a turtle-neck Sweater (A black and white combo)
First of all, I have to apologize for this late post due to problems with my camera and computer. Although winter is officially over, it is still a bit chilly out there. This outfit can be perfect for the weather, it allows you to keep warm and stay stylish.
Turtleneck sweaters are back in trend this season and they’re very common wardrobe pieces. You can be creative and play around with different looks. Here I decided to create a black and white combo by adding a black circle skirt, black above-the-knee socks, and black heels.
The turtleneck sweater is great for keeping our upper body warm and cozy. If you’re going to wear a skirt with it, we need to cover up our legs a bit more in order to stay warm. First I put on nude leggings, and then I throw on some black over-the-knee socks to create an extra layer. This is my little trick to be able to show some skin (illusion of nude leggings) and still stay warm from head to toe.
Putting on a pair of black ankle boots along with black long socks elongates your legs and you appear to be taller. To complete the look, I added a small white handbag with a silver Pandora bracelet to create a balance between the whites and blacks in this look.
